Playing the piano and the cornet, singing with Princeton Pro Musica, reading fiction novels, traveling, walking and exercising.
Professional Ministry Experience:
Ordained and Commissioned as a Salvation Army officer (June, 1980). Served for 10 years as Pastor/Community Leader in West Chester, PA, Philadelphia, PA and Cincinnati Ohio, as Instructor at The School for Officers Training, and as the Region Executive for Youth Ministries in Eastern PA and Delaware.
Ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) (February, 1998). For over 10 years served as Pastor of Bensalem Presbyterian Church in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, an original member congregation of the Presbytery of Philadelphia having been established by 1705 by Dutch farmers.
Rev. Osy is fully bilingual, a third-generation pastor committed to the ministry of the local church, ecumenical relations, and multi-cultural ministry. With a strong background in church music, spiritual theology, and reformed liturgy he has specialized in the areas of assimilation of new members, leadership training and mobilization of the congregation for ministry, both to the congregation and the community.
